In joining Dream Team Law, Ms. Diaz is elated to transition from general civil matters to zealously pursuing justice in civil courts on behalf of victims of car accidents, 18-wheeler collisions, wrongful death, insurance disputes, and a wide range of injury-related cases. Ms. Diaz has successfully recovered millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of her clients, earning a reputation as a fierce advocate for the injured and underserved. Prior to joining the firm, she built a diverse legal foundation, handling complex matters in Family and Matrimonial Law, Probate and Estates, Trusts, Immigration, Domestic Violence, and Criminal Defense. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, with a Minor in Political Science, from the University of Miami in 2010, and obtained her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in 2014. During her time in law school, she was actively involved in the Delta Theta Phi International Law Fraternity, the Women’s Law Association, and the Immigration Law Society. Ms. Diaz began her legal career as a Legal Intern with the Miami-Dade Police Department, where she focused on money laundering and asset forfeiture cases. Following graduation, she joined a respected South Florida law firm as an Associate Attorney, managing a wide range of family and civil law cases throughout the state of Florida. She is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, the Texas Bar, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. A proud native of South Florida, Ms. Diaz is fluent in both English and Spanish, and remains deeply committed to serving diverse communities with integrity, empathy, and legal excellence. Joshua E. Rasco is an experienced commercial litigator who has handled a wide range of complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts. His experience includes real estate litigation, probate and trust litigation, business disputes, mass tort and personal injury. As a partner at Dream Team Law, Mr. Rasco spearheads the firm’s personal injury litigation team, where he has recovered millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. In the early stages of his journey in the legal profession, Mr. Rasco gained valuable experience at a boutique aviation and mass tort litigation firm in Miami. He was fortunate to have built the foundation of his legal career working on several high-profile cases, including the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370, an S.E.C. enforcement action arising from the Rothstein $1.2 billion Ponzi Scheme, and mass tort litigation against one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. In 2013, Mr. Rasco earned his JD degree from NSU’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he made the Dean’s List in each of his three years of attendance. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University, where he studied communications. Attorney Yelina Angulo was born and raised in Cuba. She moved to the United States with her family at the age of 13, and since that age was very passionate about speaking out for those in need. Ms. Angulo graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and two minors in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Ms. Angulo then followed to graduate from Nova Southeastern University School of Law with her Juris Doctor Degree. While in law school, Ms. Angulo was the founding President of the Cuban American Bar Association Student Chapter where she organized several events to raise awareness in the community of minorities within the legal field. Ms. Angulo also received various awards during her tenure at Nova including making Dean’s List and was recognized with the Honorable Margarita Esquiroz Scholarship. Ms. Angulo also interned for the Honorable John J. Murphy in the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County. Following her graduation, Ms. Angulo became an Associate Attorney at a prominent South Florida Law Firm. Ms. Angulo was later the Founder and Managing Partner of Angulo Diaz Law Group, P.A., where she advocated for small business owners and handled Civil and Business Litigation, Contract Drafting and Disputes, Foreclosure Defense, Bankruptcy, Residential and Commercial Landlord-Tenant matters as well as Personal Injury.
